The integrated virtual classroom, powered by WebRTC, allows for live sessions with whiteboarding, breakout rooms, and polls. The system uses machine learning to analyze student engagement and performance, automatically suggesting supplemental materials to at-risk learners and providing instructors with deep insights into course effectiveness.

The Challenge
Delivering high-quality, adaptive video streaming to users with varying internet speeds. Creating a seamless and low-latency virtual classroom experience. Designing a flexible data model to track complex learning paths and skill acquisitions.
Our Solution
We implemented a dynamic adaptive streaming (DASH) pipeline for video, automatically adjusting quality. For the virtual classroom, we used a managed WebRTC service to handle the complex signaling and TURN server requirements, allowing us to focus on the application logic. The data model was built around a 'skill graph' where courses and modules are nodes, allowing for highly flexible learning paths and prerequisite enforcement.
